Augmented War? The Stakes and Challenges of ai in Future Conflicts

Artificial Intelligence is at the origin of a new revolution in the management of military affairs, from decision-making to the execution of actions, on the production and maintenance lines of equipment as well as within operational circuits. Passage to a strong ai, which implies a deep learning of sophisticated machines and algorithms, is part of a foreseeable future. Ethical, military and financial questions will have to be asked. France possesses strong assets, yet the effort to be accomplished in order to keep up with the United States and China can only be carried out at the European level. ai is the new paradigm for the 21st century conflicts and augmented war.
